Industrial blower selection & replacement supply.

Need a replacement industrial blower or a supplier quote for pneumatic conveying, process air or vacuum service? Canadian Conveying helps gather airflow, pressure, power and installation details to compare suitable manufacturer options and accessories.

Blower selection starts with airflow and pressure

Motor horsepower or connection size alone does not define the duty. The blower must operate at the required airflow and pressure after system losses are considered.

Request a Quote
AirflowRequired conveying air, process air or ventilation flow at the actual operating condition.
Pressure or vacuumTotal system resistance, line loss, equipment loss, elevation, filter condition and operating margin.
EnvironmentInlet temperature, altitude, ambient conditions, dust exposure, noise limits and installation location.
Mechanical and electricalSpeed, drive arrangement, motor voltage, controls, relief protection, silencers, footprint and maintenance access.

Blower applications we can source for

Supplier selection needs the required duty and operating conditions; matching motor horsepower alone is not enough.

Pneumatic conveying

Pressure or vacuum conveying duties involving line distance, vertical lift, material loading, feed equipment, receivers and filtration.

Process and combustion air

Applications requiring a defined air volume and pressure for aeration, drying, cooling or other industrial processes.

Replacement equipment

Send the make, model and nameplate of your existing blower, together with the required duty and any changed operating conditions, for supplier replacement options.

Common reasons a blower does not perform as expected

The blower may be healthy while the system operating point has shifted.

Restricted airflowDirty filters, blocked inlet piping, closed dampers, undersized linework or buildup can reduce flow and alter pressure.
Excessive pressureLong routes, added bends, higher material rate, plugged lines or downstream restrictions can overload the system.
Temperature and noiseOperating point, speed, inlet conditions, installation, silencers and enclosure ventilation all influence heat and sound.
System changesAdded equipment, rerouting, increased throughput or a different material may make the original blower unsuitable.

You do not need a finished specification.

An equipment tag, nameplate photo, existing specification or brief description is enough to start an inquiry. We can ask suppliers what additional information they need before confirming an equipment quotation.

Budgetary equipment or component quote
Replacement equipment and accessory options compared
Manufacturer duty and compatibility confirmation

Industrial blower types and details for a supplier quote

The blower type and operating point depend on the system, not only the existing motor horsepower or connection diameter.

Positive-displacement blowers

Often evaluated for conveying-air supply and other constant-volume duties. Ask about required flow at actual operating conditions, differential pressure, discharge temperature and motor power.

Regenerative blowers

May suit certain lower-flow pressure or vacuum duties. Supplier verification of the entire operating curve is important, especially at elevated pressure or temperature.

Centrifugal fans & process air

For appropriate ventilation and process-air duties, specify airflow, total/static pressure, air density, contaminants and any material or temperature constraints.

Replacement packages & accessories

Equipment matching can include silencers, filters, relief devices, guards, drives, adapters and control requirements. Check installation dimensions and existing electrical service.

Information to include with your RFQ: An existing blower nameplate helps, but request pricing with rated and required airflow, pressure/vacuum, operating temperature, motor voltage, duty cycle and site elevation if available.

From part inquiry to delivery.

A practical sourcing process for single replacements and coordinated equipment orders.

Identify the part

Send a part number, photo, drawing or specification. We clarify the details needed to approach suitable suppliers.

Confirm your quote

Compare the proposed product, quantity, pricing, freight and available lead time before approving your order.

Arrange supply

Once the order is confirmed, we coordinate supplier fulfilment and shipping, and keep the part details available for repeat inquiries.

QUESTIONS & ANSWERS

Before you request a quote.

What if airflow or pressure is unknown?

Send the existing blower nameplate and any operating records. We can ask a supplier which data is needed; a firm selection may require duty information from your facility or engineering provider.

What is included in a quotation?

The proposed product and quantity, pricing, available lead time and freight details are set out in the quotation. Availability and any outstanding specification checks are confirmed before ordering.

Do you design or install complete systems?

Our focus is sourcing and supplying components. We coordinate product questions with suppliers; complete system design, installation and performance verification are outside a standard supply quotation.

Can you source a replacement blower using a nameplate photo?

A nameplate and installation photos are useful starting points. We also ask for the actual system airflow, pressure or vacuum requirement and electrical details so suppliers can assess suitable replacements rather than relying only on model similarity.
