Canadian Conveying helps plants investigate conveying, airflow and dry bulk handling problems and develop practical ways to move, collect, meter, store, discharge or separate material. Reviews are informed by an engineering perspective and years of practical system experience, with attention to product characteristics, required throughput, conveying distance, vertical lift, route, operating conditions and available space before suitable system concepts are compared. When appropriate, we can also coordinate suppliers and supply the selected equipment and components.

You may know the production problem but not the exact component package. These questions help frame the conversation before parts are quoted.

Ask About Your Application

What if we do not know exactly what equipment we need?

That is a normal starting point. A plant may know it needs to move, meter, store, collect, discharge or separate a material without knowing whether the answer involves a blower, rotary valve, pipe size, coupling style, magnet, filter, slide gate, diverter, bin, silo or custom transition.

We help define the application first so the quote can be built around the actual process instead of a blind parts list.

Can you help review blower, pipe size and flow requirements?

We can discuss the product being handled, desired flow rate or throughput, conveying distance, pickup point, discharge point, existing equipment, available space and connection requirements to help narrow down suitable component options.

For complex or safety-sensitive systems, supplier review, testing or a separately defined formal engineering scope may be required.

Can you help select a rotary valve, gate, magnet or diverter?

Yes. Selection depends on the material, required capacity, pressure or vacuum condition, inlet and outlet sizes, duty cycle, clean-out needs, wear concerns, sanitation requirements, metal-contamination risk and how the component connects into the system.

Do you supply individual parts or full component packages?

Both can be reviewed. Some requests are a single replacement filter, coupling, elbow, valve or fabricated adapter. Others become a coordinated package involving blowers, rotary valves, conveying line components, magnets, filters, gates, diverters, supports and custom transitions.

Can you help with bins, silos or storage requirements?

Storage can be discussed as part of the process scope: material type, required capacity, refill frequency, discharge method, available space and how the bin or silo connects to the rest of the system. Structural, code, foundation or installation requirements may need separate review by the appropriate qualified parties.

Can you help with bin, silo or hopper level sensors?

Yes. High-level and low-level indication should be reviewed around the material, bin style, installation point, dust conditions, access, required signal and control requirements. Depending on the application, options may include rotary paddle level indicators, tuning fork switches, capacitive sensors, ultrasonic sensors, radar-style sensors or other supplier-supported level detection products.

We can help review the application and coordinate with suitable suppliers to determine a practical sensor style for the material and storage arrangement. Electrical installation, controls integration and any required code-specific work should be defined separately with the appropriate qualified parties.

Do you install the equipment?

Some projects are supply-only and shipped directly to you. For selected work, installation coordination can be discussed depending on location, scope, timing, trade requirements and whether your maintenance staff or local contractors are involved.
